Wohlsen Announces Delaware Valley Leadership Transition

LANCASTER, Pa. — Wohlsen Construction today announced that Mike Berardi, Senior Vice President of its Delaware Valley Region, will retire at the end of 2026, concluding a career spanning more than 45 years in the construction industry. Berardi has led Wohlsen's Delaware Valley operations for the past 15 years. As part of a planned leadership transition, Brett Stevens has been appointed Senior Vice President of the Delaware Valley Region and will assume the role upon Berardi's retirement.

During his 15-year tenure, Berardi guided the Delaware Valley Region through sustained growth while deepening relationships with clients, partners, and employee-owners. His steady leadership and client-focused approach helped shape the region's culture and positioned it for continued success.

Stevens joined Wohlsen in 2021 and currently serves as Vice President of Revenue Strategy. In that role, he works across the company to strengthen client relationships and advance Wohlsen's commitment to delivering best-in-class construction services. With more than 26 years of experience spanning design, real estate development, finance, business strategy, and construction management, Stevens brings a broad range of leadership experience to his new position.

Prior to joining Wohlsen, Stevens held several executive leadership roles and built a diverse background across design, real estate development, finance, and construction management. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with clients to understand their goals, navigate complex challenges, and bring projects from concept to completion. His professional achievements and past affiliations include recognition as a 40 Under 40 Award recipient by the American City Business Journals, service as a Habitat for Humanity Board Member, membership in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and involvement as an ACE Mentor.
