United Contractors Announces 2025 R.E.A.L. Safety Award Winners

SAN RAMON, Calif. — Safety is not just a priority; it is the cornerstone of every successful construction project. United Contractors (UCON) announced the winners of the 2025 R.E.A.L. Safety Awards, recognizing companies, projects, and safety professionals who consistently elevate safety standards on union construction sites across California.

The R.E.A.L. Safety Awards, which stand for "Recognizing Excellence, Awareness, and Leadership in Safety," are now in their third decade, celebrating companies and individuals who demonstrate unwavering commitment to protecting their employees, preventing injuries, and fostering a culture where safety is a core value.

This year, UCON receivedone of the largest applicant pools in the program's history, reflecting the industry's continued investment in safety excellence. All applications were reviewed anonymously, with each submission evaluated against established criteria to identify exceptional leadership, innovation, and measurable safety performance.
